On JK &
Hindu Thought
The ability to observe without evaluating is the highest form of Intelligence
JK’S Transmissions
Please read Mechanization of Thought which is an extension to the JK model.
"K" was devastatingly precise when he spoke to the fluctuations of the Human Mind, or as as he later came to call it the the relentless "movement of Thought".
However, when his writings are viewed as though it were a mere lecture, this creates a separation between the Teacher and the Taught, consequently making his books nearly useless to read, as such knowledge cannot be taught but must be learned.
Simply Meditation
That’s because every one of his talks and writings are essentially exercises in guided meditation, powered by the psychic energy of the Speaker’s voice.
It is a Learning of the Moment, for the Moment, and even by the Moment, impossible to be taught through merely a reading of his books.
In JK's sessions one has to engage totally with the words of the speaker, without identifying with either the words as sterile concepts, or the speaker as a revered Teacher!
This is how we can observe there is no separation, no fragmentation of Teacher & Taught.
Learning happens the moment we drop all of one’s accumulated baggage of preconceptions of our own self as well as that of the speaker.
This is why he insists to us not to Seek, or search, because these are pathways to future eventualities, whereas he is urging to us to enquire into, with non-judgmental curiosity, the totality of the moment during his talk.
For it is when we pay complete and total attention to the moment, and not to some mental fragmentation of Teacher or the Taught, then the Observer of the situation and the Observed situation merge, leaving us with only pure Observation that enlightens us from within!
To push us into the Now moment, he repeatedly exhorts that this is an urgent matter, so we participate in it totally & completely, akin very much to a Yajnya that annihilates our limited notion of Self in the fire of the concentrated moment.
JK’s transmissions are best suited for those on the path seeking a direct annihilation of the accumulated baggage of the psychological detritus that has created “pieces of our Mind”, but most of us are at best into normal meditation seeking only “peace of mind” type of practice.
It is totally obvious, on proper inspection, that JK was 100% aligned with the teachings of Vedanta and the processes of Yogic mind sciences of Patanjali’s sutras.
In fact the very word Vedanta means the “End of Knowledge”, not that it comes at the tail end of study so there is nothing more to discover as it is fallaciously interpreted by the naive, but it means the wiping out of accumulations of the limiting knowledge of the Self.
His insistence on the total & complete attention to every moment is the opening mantra of Patanjali
His fundamental technique of watching the movement of Thought, and being in the Now so that our psychological baggage from the Past doesn’t project its nosy head into the Future is exactly the next line and the very first Sutra of Patanjali!
Very similar to Ramana Maharishi whose only injunction was to watch the I-Thought Arising, Who is Speaking, JK used to say "the Speaker" to refer to himself.
When an audience member asked questions that betrayed their lack of intensity to self-enquire he used a strong tone in his words to get them out of laziness of trying to get simple answers from the teacher.
In other words, he was showing us ancient wisdom in his unique way - brilliantly simple, totally focused on the essence of foundational Hindu thought, which form that has been mangled in the civilizational train-wreck of today’s Hinduism!
And most importantly he walked the walk, psychologically of course, and even in his daily 5-km walks apparently not a single Thought would touch his crystal clear Mind.
JK was definitely a Rishi, and even a Maha-Rishi - of that there is no doubt.
Asura Infection
JK had no formal upbringing in the Hindu tradition because he was uprooted from his heritage at a young age and transported to England by the Theosophists, and groomed to be the next messiah.
This is the very definition of being inflicted by Mind Control Asura viruses because his mentors sought to impose an ill-conceived societal framework model on his Thinking.
Over the course of almost two decades this Asura infliction must have grown to Brhma-Asura proportions, as JK himself was personally evolving, and it was the saving grace of his finely tuned intelligence that stopped this infection on the verge of it jumping out of the bottle.
Krishna-ji (JK) pulled the nuclear option, just like Krishna in the Mahabharatha, and completely disbanded the organization setup around him that would control the world’s Mind!
It was JK’s innate genius that he hacked his own Mind, and emerged whole from the tangled forest of these Psychic Virus infections, and consequently wholly transformed into an enlightened Being, a Maharishi for our times.
Where there are Psychic Viruses being eradicated there certainly lurks a story!
In those days without technology to speed access to other teachings this was the mother of all hacks!
Salutations to the Master.
When we say Master it is crucial to remember that JK repeatedly insisted he is no Guru which would result in him becoming iconified and thence degenerate into a cult/religion after his passing, thus nullifying the Teachings.
JK is a Master of Observation, and consequently of Thought itself.
There was one form of Thought though, which JK did not countenance much, which is Mantras and psycholinguistic effects in general, which is why our consolidation of his teachings includes this aspect.
